These rules make room for rigorous discussion without putting people at risk.
Protect anonymity
Stay pseudonymous. Do not identify yourself or anyone else. Never post email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, legal names, workplace details, account numbers, or other identifying details.
Be specific without targeting people
Critique systems and documented conduct without harassment or threats. Clearly distinguish firsthand experience, sourced research, opinion, and organizing proposals. Do not present a claim as fact without an appropriate citation.
Correct the map with receipts
Use the ownership-correction tools and citations for factual map changes. Registry corrections require a public source and moderator review; storefront corrections should use the linked OpenStreetMap process.
Reports and outcomes
Report content that breaks these rules through the available report control. Moderators review reports and may hide content while reviewing it, remove it, restore it, or anonymize related account records. Removed material may leave a minimal placeholder where needed to preserve conversation context and moderation history.
